A California Woman Is In Critical Condition After Boyfriend Sets Her On Fire

Sad news in Hawaiian Gardens, California, a woman was suffered second and third degree burns over 60 percent of her body after being set on fire by her angry boyfriend.

The woman was covered in lighter fluid by her boyfriend and set on fire, according to the sheriff sergeant on Sunday, January 2, 2011.

The assault happened around 11 PM on New Year’s Day Saturday Jan. 1st, at the 11800 block of Civic Center Drive in Hawaiian Gardens, and according to Sgt. Michael Thomas, the suspect is still at large.

Sgt. Thomas describes the Arson suspect as a Hispanic Male, and suggest anyone who has any information on the attack and arson to call them at (323) 881-7500.
