Former NFL linebacker for the San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots, Junior Seau drove off a cliff in Carlsbad, California hours after his arrest for domestic violence.
Popular gossip site, TMZ, reports that Seau told police he wasn’t trying to kill himself or commit suicide when he drove his Cadillac Escalade off of the Carlsbad cliff, but he accidentally dozed off behind the wheel and fell asleep.
Junior Seau hours before the accident was arrested for felony domestic violence and was accused of attacking a 25-year-old female that was reported to be his live-in girlfriend.
Seau had his blood taken to see if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs even though the cops saw no sign of him being under the influence.
