Jon Hamm the star of the hit AMC television series “Mad Men” isn’t too fond of reality TV socialites Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton and thinks they are “(F-ing) Idiots”, according to a new interview in next month’s ELLE UK.
“Whether it’s Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a (expletive) idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.” Hamm told ELLE UK.
Upon hearing about the negative comments toward herself, Kim Kardashian decided to respond to Hamm’s comments and instead of replying back with insults and vulgarity, she took the high road via her Twitter account, saying “Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”
Kardashian further commented in another Tweet, “I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another.”
Even though people don’t like her for whatever reason, Kardashian showed a bit of class in her response, but you can’t blame her for the fame and riches she has accumulated over the years when it is the people who tune into watch her and the TV networks who put her on. As long as she has a fanbase she will continue to make headlines and generate money, whether we like it or not.
