The always intriguing and unique former heavyweight boxing champion of the world “Iron” Mike Tyson will make his stage debut in Las Vegas with a one-man show about himself titled “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth – Live on Stage.”
According the the LA Times, the stage show will premiere in April and run for six nights from April 13-18 at the Hollywood Theatre in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
The one-man show is not some lecture but an actual theater piece similar to celebrities Carrie Fisher and William Shatner’s one-person stage shows. The director of the show is Randy Johnson, who is best known for “Elvis the Concert” and “One Night With Janis Joplin,” the show is co-written by Tyson’s wife Kiki.
If the show is a hit, the MGM Grand has plans to extend the run, and Johnson even has visions of taking the Tyson show on the road at different venues across the glob.
