The controversial actor known for his role in Braveheart and Mad Max, might follow the footsteps of former heavyweight champion boxer, Mike Tyson, another controversial star who made a cameo in the hit movie ‘The Hangover’ giving his career a much needed positive boost.
Mel Gibson, who was in the media because of accusations of domestic violence and his abusive and disturbingly vulgar tirade against Oksana Grigorieva the mother of his young daughter Lucia, might land a cameo role in the sequel to ‘The Hangover.’
According to Entertainment Weekly, Gibson will not being playing himself but a Bangkok Tattoo Artist in the film.
It will be more of a Tom Cruise type of role in Tropic Thunder, where Cruise played a comically overweight agent named Les Grossman.
This is a daring move by the producers of ‘The Hangover’ because of the touchy situation Gibson is after insulting his former girlfriend with violent threats and degrading comments towards her. The fans could have mixed reactions towards this casting.
