With the past scares of the Swine flu H1N1 and flu season rapidly approaching, many people are concerned with catching a case of Influenza.
Health officials of the Utah Department of Health strongly suggest that everyone should get a flu shot to help prevent from outbreaks and spreading them to others.
Many times when someone is already infected with the flu they might think it’s nothing big and just a minor cold, but later on their symptoms start to worsen and they spread the germs to fellow co-workers or students.
Other suggestions to help fend off the flu or cold is eating healthy and getting a proper dosage of vitamin C and zinc which helps, but ultimately a flu shot is more surefire.
So if you have a fear of needles it would be a good time to fight that phobia and take the shot, you never know if you could be infected by a co-worker, or stranger who sneezes near you in a crowded movie theater.
